12. Sprinklers for a retaining wall how to design? - Top

For your retaining wall look at the Garden Border head at - it waters a 70 foot strip. If you can get the LawnBelt under each tier and into the next you can water the whole strip together as one zone. (depending on the how large the step is from tier to tier)

If the retaining wall is obstructed you could I suppose provide a high riser to reach up to it but you may suffer some pressure loss in doing so. You would attach a 1/2" threaded riser to the U fitting and then brace it in some way to the wall. Best in the winter to disconnect the risers form freeze damage and then plug the U Fitting up as well to keep debris out.
