- No it is not recommended that you aerate your lawn with Lawn Belt.
You can either install it at the border or perimeter of your lawn (and not aerate there) or you could install it deeper if your planning to aerate in the future. If you install deeper you'll need to add a riser at the U fitting to elevate your sprinkler head. We sell 2 inch risers at the LawnBelt online store.
