5. Can I run lawn belt off a traditional zone system hooked up directly to the main water line? - Top

Although LawnBelt can withstand the same pressures as a conventional system, it should not not be connected directly to your water main, but instead to a water source in your garden, such as a spigot or sprinkler system made from Pvc.

(This is because Lawn Belt is strictly to be used for irrigation and not for drinking water.)

Lawn Belt can be hooked directly to a PVC landscaping system by using our converter kit. If the irrigation line is shared with the same line as your drinking water, make sure that a backflow prevention valve is installed.
